Hi, I’m Katie – welcome to my blog! I’m a highschool student from Greenwich, CT . I’m interested in the intersection of anthropology and medicine. Here I’ll share information on global public health, immunology, women’s studies, medical ethics and other areas of interest. In addition to my science studies at school, I attended summer immersion programs in medicine at both Georgetown University and Wake Forest University. Last summer, I took a fascinating course at Brown University studying forensic anthropology. I am the President of the Anthropology Club at my school, a member of GAINS (Girls Advancing in Stem) among other things. I love marine biology, human anatomy and physiology, and experiments. This is a forum for me to share what I’m doing and articles of interest.
